I founded Art of Bastrop in 2022 as a way to shine a light on the incredible creative talent right here in our own backyard. Bastrop has always had a rich artistic spirit. Painters, sculptors, bronze and metalworkers, glassblowers, and mosaic artists have long called Bastrop home, and I wanted a place to celebrate that, connect with local makers, and share their work with the wider community.

I’m working towards making Art of Bastrop a living archive of the people and work shaping the culture of this town. Whether you’re a longtime local or just discovering what Bastrop has to offer, I hope it gives you a window into the vibrant creative scene that calls this place home.
